ROLE OF PARENTS IN CHILD EDUCATION
Education is a human effort to develop his personality to fit thenorms or rules within masyaratakat. Every adult in the community tobecome educators, for educators merupkan a fundamental socialact for growth or development of students into mature human beings capable of thinking and wise.
Parents are first and foremost as an environment where childreninteract as the oldest educational institution, meaning that this isstarting an educational process. So that parents act as educatorsfor their children. Family environment is also said that the most important environment, because most of the lives of children in the family, so that the education of children is the most widely accepted in the family. According to Hasbullah (1997), in his writings about the fundamentals of science education, that the family as an institution has several functions which functions in thepersonality development of children and educate children at home;function families / parents in supporting education in schools.
Assisting parents in the education of children embodied in a wayparents educate children. The way parents educate children is called an upbringing. Every parent tries to use the best possible wayaccording to them in educating children. To find the best patternthen let parents prepare themselves with a variety of knowledge tofind appropriate ways to teach in educating children.
