The uniqueness of children's emotions

Surely we often hear that children are born with unique personalities. Parents who have multiple children would quickly realize that every child has a different attitude. First child talkative, solitary second child, third child often succumb, and so forth. How to address a variety of characters, it turns out there is science, you know.

Florence Littauer in his book Personality Plus for Parents to dissect the theory of the temperament of a Roman physiologist named Galen. According to Galen, there are 4 basic personality of man, namely: sanguine (Sanguinists), Choleric (Koleris), Melancholy (Melancholy), and Pleghmatic (Phlegmatis).


In order to more easily understand these four characters, the following picture described Litteaur::

Sanguinists Character

· Hypersensitivity to people about their assessment
 

Koleris Character
· Brave and enthusiastic

· Glad to organize friends in surrounding areas
· Trying to control other people and expect recognition for his achievements
· Like challenged

· Hard head

. not sensitive to others' feelings
 

Melancholy Character
· Thinking deep
· talented
. Perfectionist
. seriously
. morose
. too sensitive
. to avoid criticism
 

Pleghmatis Character

. can be relied upon

. like to tease
. coward
. sluggard
